speaker, 'haru'nJe', has shown significant improvement in the speech understanding ability
of individuals with hearing loss, according to a clinical trial conducted at a domestic
university hospital.

Approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the study was conducted over a year
with hearing-impaired adults. The research team compared the hearing-assist mode of
haru'nJe—which applies a hearing aid algorithm—against standard soundbar modes. The
results confirmed that haru'nJe enhances users' ability to accurately recognize speech
(speech intelligibility) even in environments with background music and sound effects.
