JDSOLUTION“Hearing-Assistive Speaker 'haru'nJe' Aims to Restore the Joy of Listening for People with Hearing Loss”
As global populations rapidly transition into super-aged societies—where individuals aged 65 and older represent over 20% of the population—age-related hearing loss has emerged as a significant lifestyle challenge. Many seniors and individuals with hearing difficulties often struggle to discern spoken dialogue on televisions, prompting them to raise volumes to uncomfortable levels, which can lead to friction with family members or social disengagement.
Proprietary Clarity Algorithm & Directional Sound
Unlike standard commercial speakers that merely amplify overall volume, haru'nJe utilizes JD Solution’s proprietary hearing assistance algorithm combined with directional audio technology. It intelligently enhances consonant frequencies—which are crucial for word comprehension and typically the first to fade with hearing loss—while keeping vowel tones soft and natural.
This allows users to follow dialogues, news broadcasts, and multimedia content effortlessly at moderate, safe sound levels, without disturbing surrounding household members.
Engineered for Comfort, Versatility, and Modern Living
Designed to integrate naturally into any modern living space, haru'nJe features a compact form factor (600 × 90 × 140 mm, weighing 2.4 kg). It supports versatile connectivity options, including HDMI (ARC), Optical, Bluetooth, and AUX, making setup as straightforward as standard consumer audio equipment. The device serves as an effective daily assistive solution for seniors, veterans, and individuals coping with auditory discomfort.
"By leveraging our proprietary directional sound and acoustic algorithms, our mission is to bring back the pure joy of listening to the elderly and those with hearing impairments around the world, elevating their daily communication and quality of life."
— Young-ho Je, CEO of JDSOLUTION
